I’m watching Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I recorded it over the weekend when they were all on ABC Family. There’s clips and stuff from the new movie during them. There wasn’t a part in the movie that I haven’t seen before, they must have shown an extended version or something.

Scott Daniel is sleeping and Alex is playing in her room. I’m glad she is since she keeps bugging to eat everything in the house constantly. I made lunch and then she just kept wanting more and more. She must be growing or something.

I’m not sure what to make for dinner. I’m not really hungry so maybe I’ll make her something just for her instead of a whole meal. Even though we just went shopping yesterday, there’s still some stuff that we need to get. Next trip will be to BJs since we need diapers and probably wipes.

I can’t wait till the heat of summer is over. I’m getting sick of all these hot and humid days. Of course the past few days it’s been raining.

What to do?

The past hour or so I’ve been trying to think of things to do this weekend, if Scott gets it off, or one of the days off anyway. Besides possibly seeing a movie that is. Right now I’m trying to find a good place to go swimming. There’s the beach in town, but it’s not very big and since it’s the first weekend since school’s been out there’s a good chance it’s packed. Maybe the big flea market early Sunday morning. Bowling. No clue really, there isn’t much to do that’s cheap, which is what I’m trying to find. Also looking for something that won’t be packed on the weekend, otherwise we could go to the zoo or somewhere else, but I’m sure they would all have tons of people and would be more fun without huge crowds.

I ended up finished my book last night, but a little later than I had first planned to. Scott got out a little early so I finished reading it on my phone, instead of the actual book, after we went to bed for the night. After I finish this, I’ll start on the next one. I might get halfway or so through it today and then I guess a weekend break unless I read it at night.

No matter what, I want to try and get some pictures this weekend. It’s been way too long since we’ve taken any pictures with the camera. We use our phones for pictures way too much and those don’t come out well when printed.

Too busy reading

Title says it all really. I haven’t been doing much besides reading a lot. I never had anything interesting to say so I didn’t bother posting about how boring my day was and that I’m reading the same book again for the 3rd time. What’s so interesting about that? Not much, if you ask me.

Besides reading, it’s been hot and rainy, so I haven’t been downstairs much at all since I’ve been using the ac upstairs to stay cool. I can post from my phone, but it’s easier to do so on the computer unless I’m posting a picture that was taken with my phone. It’s somewhat hot today, but luckly not so bad that it’s hot down here. Would be better with a fan, but ah well.

Right now I’m doing the impossible by trying to get Alex to pick up. It really isn’t bad, but she has a thing about picking up no matter how small the mess may be. It’s mainly a few toys that were upstairs and the barbies that she was playing with yesterday. She’ll eventually get it done, but it’s very frustrating.

This past week has been rather odd without Scott around much. I see him for an hour or so at night, but that’s been it. Sometimes we talk while he’s coming home or text a little while he’s working, but that’s gone down some the past day or so. He may or may not get the weekend off, I hope he does but we won’t know till tomorrow. Sunday is pretty sure though, I believe. I can’t wait till the 12th when the store opens and he’ll be back to normal hours again.

We might go see Toy Story 3 if he gets both days off. Alex has been obsessed with Toy Story this month, she asks to watch it daily. Well both of them really. I wouldn’t mind seeing it, but shortly after is the movie that I really want to see. We don’t go to the movies often so it would be odd to go that close together. Or even two I want to see in a year. Depending how she is at the movie, maybe we’ll take her more or at least try the drive in since that works out a lot cheaper.

Not much else to say and I still have 80 pages left in this book so I’m gonna finish it.

Alex’s room is finished.. For the most part

We spent most of the day hanging up her clothes and weeding out the ones that don’t fit yesterday. So today we cleaned up the rest and put up any other clothes, made her bed, and its done! We just need to get a futon mattress and I need to get a container to put winter clothes in so I can store them in the closet.

Maybe after dinner we’ll clean up my room and go through the clothes there. I also need to empty out the hall closet to put towels and bedding stuff in there since before there wasn’t a place for it. Gonna be a long process doing everything but it’ll be nice once it’s all finished.

skipped some days

I didn’t really forget to post, it was mainly that I didn’t have anything to say. It’s been kind of cold and rainy the past few days. So I haven’t done much. I finished painting Alex’s room and today I finally put her new bed together. I spent an hour or so tonight cleaning up. I’ll have to finish tomorrow. Just so much to do, it gets overwhelming.

I’m tired so not posting a lot tonight. Maybe tomorrow I’ll have more to say.

Out and about

Scott and I went out tonight to Jaime’s 30th birthday party. I had a few drinks and it’s been fun so far. We’re still here but I wanted to get something in before midnight. Of course scott is sitting next to me blogging because I am.

Alex is going to spend the night with his mom and Scott will get her tomorrow after work. It’ll be nice to have a little time without her she can drive you crazy!

Not much else to say at the moment. I’ll write more about it tomorrow if anything interesting happens.

11:30 and I’m just now remembering to post. Not much went on today. I cleaned the living room and mopped, that’s about it. Way too hot to do too much. I wanted to paint the rest tonight, but Scott isn’t home yet so I guess tomorrow will do. I’m not sure exactly what we’ll be doing. I know Scott has to get the oil changed in the car and maybe get the electric problem fixed if they can. Other than that it’s all up in the air. We were going to take Alex to his moms for the weekend, but I’m not sure if we still are.

Anyway, not much else to say really and I’m watching Merlin at the moment. Gonna end this so I can pay attention to it.
