Short, but sweet

I brought my entries over to this site from myspace so that filled in a little bit of that former two year break. I also posting on myspace saying that I am actually working on this.. which I am. Currently I am going through all of my old posts putting them into categories, I may just do a page or so at a time till I am finished or maybe I will get into it and sit her forever doing all of them.

Also I added a current section to the sidebar, it’s something that I have done on most of my sites, but I can’t remember exactly what all I had put there before so it’s a short list at the moment.

That’s about all that’s going on right now.  The comments are set up so once you get approved all of them will go through automatically, but the first one I’ll have to approve so if you leave one, it may take a few hours or a day to go through.

2+ yrs in a blink of an eye

Not that I’ve really been busy or doing anything of much importance to let this site sit for that long. It’s just that I haven’t really had anything of much importance to talk about on a regular basis and then when I’d think about posting I would remember all the things I needed to do before I could even get to that point. I just quickly picked a layout to use instead of making my own.. no clue if I’ll want to spend the time coding my own or just use this one for awhile. The only major thing I’ve done so far is go through and put a password on some of the older posts. If you’d like it, email me and I’ll give it or maybe give it depending on who you are.

I’m going to try not to post too much tonight so I can slowly give an update of what’s been going on and maybe figure out what to post about so I can keep the blog up to date more often than I have in the past. I noticed that a lot of my posts were about Alex, movies, or videos games. I never realized that we watched so many movies when we had Blockbuster online, but it seemed like every post I was talking about 3 different movies that we saw or were about to get. And it was nice to see different things that happened with Alex way back when.

Slowly I’ll put all of these posts into categories and maybe move the ones from myspace over here and see if I missed any on blogger or anywhere else. There’s some spots that really seem like there were more posts inbetween that I must have missed or lost. Anyway, since I’m sure no one will be reading this till I link it somewhere or tell people about it, I don’t have to worry about what I’m going to do or when I’m going to do it at the moment.. we’ll see how things go tomorrow and if I can get anything done or feel like getting things done with this blog. Also I may or may not have Scott linked it, not that it really matters since I can put a password or whatever I want anyway. Maybe I can make some extra pages too instead of just the blog.. I have a month without another child around to do a few fixed things on this site, so I’ll just have to get to it. As for now, it’s late and time to get headed to bed.

A new beginning?

On Monday I decided to get my hair cut.. it hasn’t been cut in a long time, I can’t remember when the last time was. lol. I got maybe 14 inches cut? I know at least 10 since I donated it to locks of love. After getting that part cut it was still an inch or two below my shoulders. Since I had told her I wanted it ‘just above the shoulders and layered’ I figured it wouldn’t get cut much more.. but apparently just above the shoulders to her was 1-2 inches above the shoulder. Lovely! Some of you may remember that short haircut I had during high school that made me look somewhat like a boy.. well, it isn’t that short since the layers a longer, but that’ll give you an idea. No ponytails for me for awhile..

Since we’re getting an I-Mac tomorrow, jealous a little? I’m going to start working on my website again. It’ll probably look like crap for awhile since I haven’t done html in a long time, but it’ll be nice to get back into that. Scott thinks I should have it up by St. Paddy’s day because of the url. I don’t think it’ll take a month though.

I know, I know

I need to do something with my site. I started to feel like making a layout for it tonight, but then I couldn’t really think of what to do so I moved on to trying to work on Alex’s site.. I know what I want to do for the most part, but I’m not really sure how. Maybe tomorrow if we aren’t busy I’ll work on it while Scott plays with Alex.. we’ll see how it all goes down.
Either way, once we move I’ll be posting more and will have a different layout when I post normally.

Procrastination

I’ve been putting off fixing this site up for so long. I know I need to work on it and start posting in here more often. The past month or so.. however long it has been, I’ve dealt with getting ready for Christmas, having a Christmas, being sick, and now trying to find a new apartment. All of that is over with, I hope, so I can spend some of my free time working on this.
Scott’s going to be home soon so this post isn’t going to be really long, but I’ll try to make a more detailed one tomorrow and hopefully work on the layout and everything this weekend while Scott’s home.
