I’m doing a quick post from my phone to see how well it works. It’s almost dead so I couldn’t do something long if I wanted to.
It was a nice day today and we went outside for a short time. It’s suppose to snow some tonight and tomorrow so the weather is really messing with us here.

After being out for almost 3 months, we finally saw one in a store. The whole time I’ve been wanting one and we’ve been looking for it.. it was mainly just to see looking. Yesterday we went to Walmart and there was one there.. of course, we ended up getting it! It’s a multi-present for both of us.. Valentine’s, birthday, and anniversary.
Since we’ve gotten it, we’ve been spending a decent amount of time playing it. We only have Wii sports, Smooth moves, Super Mario Bros, and Super Mario World at the moment. Most of our time has been spent playing Wii sports.. it’s a work out! My arms are pretty sore, but it’s soo much fun. Since some of the games are all motion, it’s easy to let Alex play with a little help so she likes it too.
My first impression was that it’s really small. From all the pictures I saw it seemed bigger.. it’s skinny and short, but not really long either. After a little while of playing, I realized something else.. where’s the blue light? I thought it was something that was on when the Wii is on, but apparently it only comes on when it’s updating or if you have a message. By the way, if anyone has a Wii, send me your Wii id so I can add you!
Tonight it’s suppose to start snowing and we’re suppose to get 6-12 inches. I hope we do end up getting at least 6 inches. Alex hasn’t had any snow to play in all winter. It’s only snowed an inch or 2 maybe 3 times, and most of it melted when the sun came out so she didn’t have any time to play in it. She’s been wanting to make snow angels and build a snowman all winter.. maybe this storm she’ll actually be able to do it.
Other than those things there isn’t much going on. Last night one of my wisdom teeth broke so now I have to get it pulled. Only 2 more to go! If we had the extra money to put towards it, I would just get them out with the broken one.. but I have a feeling it would cost a decent amount since one is impacted and the other is mostly impacted. Luckily the root isn’t exposed so it’s not painful.. so we’re not rushing around trying to get it pulled now. I do want it out soon because I know it’ll start hurting sooner or later.
I’m off to play Wii for a little while.. once Scott gets home I know he’ll want to play. We’re going to get Wii play soon so we can have an extra remote plus another game. The remote is 40 dollars and Wii play is 50.. I think it makes more sense to spend 50 for a game and remote. I’m sure others would agree with that.

Yeah, so I’m blogging.. who believes it? To make this even more unbelievable, I’m thinking of blogging on the website I pay for! I know, Oh my god, right? I’ve been debating about hooking up one of the spare computers in the bedroom and spending some time in there when Scott’s home working on my website. Of course, I have to rebuild one of the computers in order for it to work.. and then I have to choose an OS to install on that computer. We’re using PC Linux on this one, but I’d like to try another one. I know Scott wants to try a bunch and if there’s another computer hooked up he’ll be able to do that.
Anyway, in other news, we’re planning on going to Md for Christmas. We’d have to drive back home on Christmas day though since Scott has work the day after. Also we’re suppose to be going to a concert on the 19th. I’m looking forward to it, but I’m not really sure about hearing Disturbed live. I’ve liked them for a long time, I remember buying their first cd for like 8.88 or something at Walmart. That’s when I used to go with friends and buy cds of new bands just to check them out, remember that? I thought the cover was cool and they sounded like a good band. I think that’s when someone else bought Soil? Oh, the memories!
I’ve recently been trying to call people and I swear I’m being ignored! You know who you are!
I’ve tried to call my mom several times and haven’t gotten an answer I feel so out of touch.
The weather up here is being crazy, which is to be excepted I guess, but it’ll be 30-40 for awhile then back to 50-60. It’s suppose to be in the 50-60 till the 11th, but I know that will change. I don’t even trust that it’ll be 64 tomorrow. Also, right now, accuweather says it’s going to snow some on the 22nd. I know it’ll end up changing.. it hardly ever snows much if at all till after Christmas.
I think that’s all that is somewhat interesting around here. I need to make something quick for dinner anyway. Hope you enjoyed the blog!

We’ve been back from our trip to Fl for a week now. The trip was good.. Alex had fun down there playing with family and friends. I might put some pictures up later, but who knows how much later that will happen. I had fun hanging out with my friends.. although once I passed out before any hanging out took place. We also did some geocaching while we were down there.. if you want to know what it is do a google search.
We haven’t done much since we’ve been back. Sunday night we went out with some friends for Scott’s birthday. We were out for about 5 hours because we went to Denny’s after the bar closed. Monday we didn’t do anything at all though.. we were too tired since we didn’t get home till 5am. We’re planning on doing a beach trip soon, but it would have to be after Alex’s birthday since this Sunday is the only day Scott has off till then.
Since we’ve been back I have built our new computer. I think I did it last Wednesday. We didn’t spend too much, but we have an awesome computer now. We got an Atlhon XP 64 4200 CPU.. which equals 4.4ghz total when we had been using one that was half as fast. We also have a case that has a door wth a lock on it so Alex can’t press the power button or play with the cdrom. It has an open side.. I’m tempted to get led lights to put in the case. I was surprised when I found out that the case had 3 fans on it. Scott picked it out so I didn’t know anything about the case. Here’s the case we got for all of those that are curious.. http://www.thermaltake.com/xaserCase/soprano/sws/sws.htm It’s super quiet for having 4 fans in it.

Yesterday we received a new fan for our computer and when we put it on later that night the cpu burnt out for some reason. We knew it was starting to get too hot and would burn out soon if we didn’t get a new fan on it soon, but we didn’t expect it to happen right when we switched fans. We’ve only had that computer for about 2 and a half years.. so now we have to either buy a new cpu or a new cpu and motherboard. The only cpu our motherboard supports isn’t made anymore so we have to get it off of ebay. I found a few that are boxed and weren’t pulled.. so now it’s just deciding which one to get. We are going to upgrade a little though. Scott had already been looking at upgrading our cpu.. so he’s kind of happy about it.
Now you’re probably wondering how I’m on the computer, huh? Well, we still had our old computer that we had been messing with so I put the better graphics card, harddrives, etc in this one and it’s working ok. For some reason the OS won’t load so I’m using a LiveCD. We’ll probably end up reinstalling the OS. We also have the laptop to use, but Scott takes that to work with him so I only use it at night. We also have another computer, but that one is almost total junk and we’ll probably end up tossing it.
Besides that, not much is going on around here. We’re going to a cookout tomorrow.. hopefully it won’t rain. It’s rained the past few days and it’s suppose to rain today although it has yet to start.
Alex is starting to want to go without a nap. She’s done it before, but usually ends up napping later in the day like around 6-7pm. She’s starting to rub her eyes, but isn’t showing any signs of wanting to sleep. She has been getting grumpy at times, but luckily it’s only been lasting a few minutes.
