Seems like I’ve long forgotten about this, doubt anyone would even bother to check, but you never know so here goes. Long enough sentence to start me off, eh? Even if I don’t get around to posting all that much I’m going to at least try and get some pictures on here. It’s not like I really use facebook enough or anything else for that matter.
I’m surprised that the iphone hasn’t ruined my typing skills, I might be a little slower, but I still don’t need to look at the keyboard and it doesn’t seem like I’m going too slow or relying on what the iphone would do with spellcheck/period ending my sentences. Gonna have to take a typing test to see how fast I am now, it’ll be interesting to see since it’s been so long since I’ve used a computer for anything.
So last week, maybe? Anyway, we finally got the carpet installed in the basement so we’ve been moving everything down here. Besides baby toys that aren’t used anymore and stuffed animals, pretty much everything has been moved. I do have to move the puzzles and board games, but that won’t be till we get a shelve thing for the closet. We have my computer down here, along with all the other computer stuff. Only Scott’s iMac is left upstairs and if need be we can use the laptop up there. It’s odd having it be a regular living room, no toys, looks a lot different. We also put a tv down here, with the PS2. The tv is hooked up to the computer so we can watch netflix and other online video, it’s nice since we haven’t moved the second box down here. Still have to get a couch, but that should be happening within the next few days. Biggest plus is that it’s nice and cool down here so no need for the ac which I would be wanting on if we were upstairs.
As for the kids, Alex is being really difficult lately. Some days she’ll be good, others she has to be mouthy and rude all the time. We’re at a lose of what to do about it, but now that the toys are all down here it’s easy to cut them off if we need to. Scott Daniel is becoming a total boy, he loves playing with trucks and of course electronics. He loves dancing, I’ve been meaning to get a video of it since it’s rather funny.
Not sure if there’s anything else to add, but if so it’s good to keep a bit for later on, right? Maybe I can get Scott into a posting war, I know he wants to start posting more, but doesn’t want to talk about work stuff all the time. I’m sure he could figure something out, he usually wins since I forget to post or don’t have anything to say after awhile. I also know that a few have complained that he hasn’t been posting enough.

Snow, snow coming my way. Snow, snow come and stay! Currently have about 6 inches from last night and all of today. Might actually get enough to have a good amount to play in. Can’t have a white Christmas but a few days after is good enough I guess.

Like I mentioned in my incredibly short post last night, yesterday was nice and in the 50’s. We played outside for a decent amount of time. The day before that Scott went to take her to the park since it was also in the 50’s, but there was still tons of snow and a mess there. They ended up playing at the McD’s playground for a few hours.. a few of her friends were there as well so she had fun. Also, like I said, today it snowed.. there was maybe an inch and a half on the car when we left for karate and not much on the ground. It’s nice how the weather here messes with you and can’t decide exactly which season it would like to be. The weekend, spring.. today, winter.. tomorrow, who knows.
I’m starting to get tired of the nightly contractions for hours in a row. Nothing I can time or do anything about, but they’re annoying nonetheless. Maybe on Wednesday there will be some news.. maybe something has happened in the past week to show that I’m actually suppose to have a baby in the coming weeks. I’m not sure if it’s all hospitals or just a few, but apparently it’s common for inductions to only be done on Friday. I hadn’t thought about it before, but I went in on Friday morning when I was induced with Alex. So if we end up going that way this one would be a day after his due date when Alex was the day before.
The signs that Easter is coming up fast are very noticeable at stores. Tonight we went to get a few things after karate and saw Peeps. Last year I looked around a few different stores and couldn’t find them anywhere, so I had to get a pack when I saw them. Alex was allowed to have one after finishing her dinner and I had a few of course. I think this year I might actually color eggs with her, I didn’t end up trying to do it last year, but I think she could handle it this time. I’m not sure if we’ll hide them or go somewhere to hunt any, but it would be nice if we could find something to do. She’s been helpful lately, whenever I make banana pudding she puts down the waffers and banana pieces for me. Though I’m sure the fact that helping make it means she can eat it sooner gives her reason to do so.
Time to go sit down and watch some of the things that have been recording all night. We’ve been going crazy with movies since we only have a short time of them for free. There’s a ton on there for Alex and a few for us that we delete after we’ve watched them. It’s insane how much bigger the harddrive on this dvr is compared to the cable one we had, it’s not even 15% full, but there’s 15 or so full length movies on it.

Last night I ended up going through two of the bags of baby clothes. There were maybe 10 or so neutral outfits and I trashed 2 bags full of stained clothes. One of the space saver bags that was full of clothes had a whole in it so the bottom half were completely soaked and stained from that. I’ll have to wash them all sometime in the near future.
While I was doing that I listened to American Idol, from the looks of it so far, I don’t think I’ll be into it much this year. There hasn’t been anyone I like a lot or that I think is really good.
Today was incredibly exciting, I woke up at 8, ate, and then went back to bed at 10:30 till 1:30. Do you envy me? It’s just barely 9:30 now and I could already go back to bed for the night. This baby is just draining everything from me constantly and it sucks. There’s tons of things I need to do, but just don’t have the energy to do any of them.

I don’t really have anything specific to say at the moment.. maybe as I go on I will think of something to write about. Today we went to Walmart and a few other places. Nothing special about that.. I found some more discount outfits for Alex and we got some food. We bought her first Christmas present.. we got her the shout Elmo. It was on sale at Walmart so we figured that we’d go ahead and get it.
Tomorrow we’ll probably go to the park or something. It’s suppose to be in the 70’s so it won’t be too bad. It’d be nice if there were more free places to go for her to play. The park gets old.. there isn’t all that much to do there and soon they’ll be taking everything down. When we first went there, the train wasn’t there and a few other things. I guess they took their time putting it up because none of the stuff was new so it wasn’t like they were waiting to get them.
There’s a new airline that’s offering really cheap tickets from Worcester to Orlando for most of Jan. It would be 188 dollars for both of us to fly down there, but there’s no one that would get us at Orlando. I looked at all the other airlines and the cheapest flight from Hartford to Jax is 500 dollars for the both of us. Alex too, but we don’t have to pay for her since she’d be on my lap. 500 dollars is a lot of money.. we wouldn’t have any extra money for anything else. So it really wouldn’t be worth it.
Anyway, I need to get to bed and there isn’t much else to say.
